Cushinberry Community Initiative

As a prominent figure in Topeka who served as an educator for nearly 40 years, “Cush” has left a lasting impact on our community. His journey from a star student athlete to a dedicated mentor exemplifies the values we hope to instill in our local youth. In recognition of his contributions, we are proud to announce the inaugural "Cushinberry Community Initiative," a school supply giveaway scheduled for late July to early August 2025.

Our goal is to distribute 200 or more book bags filled with essential supplies such as paper, pencils, markers, scissors, glue, and other educational tools deemed necessary for student success. This initiative is more than just a giveaway; it is a commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders and fostering a spirit of collaboration within our community.

To make this initiative a reality, we are actively seeking sponsors, donors, and volunteers who share our vision. Your support will not only help us reach our goal but also honor the legacy of “Cush” by empowering local youth through education. Together, we can build a stronger foundation for a brighter future.
